Looks dang good Dwain!
I grilled a pork T tonight too, but whole, keep meaning to do the bacon filet mignon type thing on one.

yea, those do look really nice - I like the whole thing - Did you do anything to the cabbage before smoking it, or did you just plop it out there? Did it get smoke?

I cored the cabbage and stuffed a 1/2 stick of butter in the void. I double wrapped the cabbage in Heavy Duty Alum Foil so didn't get a lot of smoke but cabbage can take too much smoke so it was not missed. Some folks stuff bacon, bullion, rub, etc but I didn't go that route this time.

Thanks - that seems like an awesome way to cook it - Sorta steams itself - Probably helps with keeping the good stuff in it for you too.

looks awesome....... but I can go without cabbage:wsm: but then again never had it done on a Weber, didn't like Brussels sprouts till they were Q'd

Smoked cabbage? Brilliant, gonna try that. (Do you think piercing the alu foil would allow a wee bit more smoke to the cabbage?).

Oh yeah, the other players in that cook look great too. Nice job Dwain.

I think so. I've seen some folks leave the top of the foil open for more smoke. But I use smoke like a strong spice to avoid the ashtray effect: a little goes a long way.
