My Mom used to make this with leftovers from Thanksgiving and it was one of the eight kids favorite meals of the year.
Had a whole aged cooked Ribeye left over from Sunday and decided to do a version.

The gravy fixin's with Sage and Thyme from the garden

Oh my word! What a great looking meal!

And your 'dessert' is pretty excellent too.

Bill your killing me with the steak and mushroom posts..the one thing I forgot to pick up this weekend was mushrooms!! Nice work...right down to the scotch and cigar! Nice!!

Wow Bill, fantastic looking meal. Tis the season for nostalgia with the holidays coming up. Your meal looks delicious. Wouldn't mind a shot of that Bushmills right now. Never smoked, but I love the smell of a cigar!

Looks so darn good Bill! Big fan of the shroom sauce and dont be a stranger off adding some of that wiskey to the sauce. Makes it pop...And if you do add some tarragon it will be awesome. Awesome cook buddy!

I do occasionally pur Bourbon in Dan but the CEO prefers the more herby taste
