My Mom used to make this with leftovers from Thanksgiving and it was one of the eight kids favorite meals of the year.
Had a whole aged cooked Ribeye left over from Sunday and decided to do a version.
The gravy fixin's with Sage and Thyme from the garden
Garlic and onion on first, then the shrooms, when done added a cup of beef broth and reduced, then a 1/4 cup of heavy cream and the herbs along with S&P
Picked the last of the Butter Cup Squash while I was at
Steak warming up and made toast on the Genny
Done and heading in
Steak sliced nice and thin
On the table, not as good as my Mom's but I enjoyed it
