I picked up a pork shoulder to make up some ground pork for sausage and a few other things, couldn’t say no at $.89 a pound.
After we ground up the pork Barb made some breakfast sausage with two pounds of it and we discussed what to do with the ½ pound we had after the other four pounds were packaged and in the freezer.
We took a half pound of ground beef and mixed it with the ½ pound of pork along with some Penzeys Bratwurst mix and made some Bratburgers for diner.
Did them on the greenie genesis with the little griddle.
The stuff
Sorry for the lousy picture, Barb is grilling some unions. I swear you could see that grill light from space it’s so bright.
Burgers on.
Some thick slices of pepper jack.
Some L&T, pickle, grilled onion and mouseturd.
Tots and fries and a chipotle dressing for the taters.
Boy the Bratburgers were excellent! Will be making these again.
Have a great weekend.
