Which is more cost effective- 24 Weber starter cubes or a weed burner w 20lb tank

I place a chafing dish fuel burner under the chimmney, let it burn a few minutes. Remove it carefully once coals are going, then cover it and use it several more times.

    Pork Loin Chops (1st Picture)

I've been lurking for ages, registered this week, and now I post my first picture. No pictures of the cook, but here is the plate (I am still on a Blackberry, so excuse the image quality). Pork loin chops from Costco, brined for an hour, rubbed with a self-made cajun style rub, and grilled on...

SNF....Ribs and Mexican street hot dogs

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Pinks - the original Melrose and La Brea location. My favorite offering being the Pastrami Burrito (2 dogs, pastrami, swiss cheese, chili, onions). That being said, some restaurant style hot-dog joint will eventually pull the bacon-wrapped "L.A. Dog" off the...

Noticed a lot of these vendors use a cooking sheet heated by small propane burners underneath. Some of the best food is simple.

SNF....Ribs and Mexican street hot dogs

Interesting! Funny how the package says Hollywood's Original, when their origins here in L.A. were in East L.A, Downtown, and South Central. Hollywood's very own iconic "Pinks Hotdogs" does not even carry this style of dog. Neither does L.A. hot dog haven "Okie Dog" or East L.A.'s "Chronies"...
