i haven't posted photos in a while...
this recent (last Sunday) smoke went well, the food was tasty AND i remembered to snap a few photos...
so, i thought i'd post them.
i finally chiseled out a notch for my probe wire on the 14" WSM...
tossed on a 5 pound bone-in butt about 8 in the morning...
...had a few stray Italian sausages laying around, thought i'd add those also for and hour or so.. they were lunch.
this 5 pound roast took nearly 10 hours to reach 200ºF (i took it off at 196º)
this photo ▼ was about half-way...
...and how it looked when i scooped it up
pulled it by hand, then lightly sauced it with Stubb's Mopping and Basting Sauce
then served on our everyday china on large rolls with slaw and smoked Gouda cheese with a side of Calico beans & a cold beer.
thanks for stoppin' by!
