Wings again on the WSM 14.5"

I am completely digging this little mini me smoker. It works so great!!!! Local store again had wings on sale. I bought a random mix of wings, and threw them on the WSM. I used Apple wood for smoke. Only takes about an hr or so, and the wings are done. So easy to lock in temps on this little guy. No water in pan, just foil. Wings were very tasty!!!

Those are GREAT lookin' wings and look very moist, etc. Good job!

I have been doing my wings using a Vortex of late. However, I DID make some nice wings on my 14.5 and 18.5" WSM's, too, before I went over to the dark side.

Great looking wings! The mini-wsm's and the 14.5" are perfect wing smokers. I see you have the water pan in there foiled up. Next time remove the water pan and give it a try.

Did you have any problems with chewy or non-crispy skin? I can't figure out how to do that right, short of deep frying.
