Charcoal is like diesel for me, I tend to just roll in and buy it regardless. I need it and that’s about all there is to it hahaI have a friend in Texas that uses it and likes it. I have to feed a 22” and just can’t afford it!
Good stuff and a great price!Picked up 2 of these today at Costco. 2 x 18# / $9.97

Pretty good list there!Narrowing down the field to:
B&B briquettes, Charlogs
Cowboy briquettes
Fogo Super Premium
KJ Big Block
I agree. FOGO Premium is pretty good, too.Pretty good list there!
I hope that means we can start seeing B&B briquettes in more stores, tired of Ace being out of stock for months at a time.Duraflame owns Cowboy and B&B charcoal now. I hope that’s a good thing.
The right diet will fix that problem for you.97 is a price liquidation. i'll head to my local costco and buy a few bags. it cooks well, is nice and hot and has a good oak flavor. thanks for this share.
UPDATE: scored some cowboy at the $9.97 price. Local Costco has maybe 20 packs left (Folsom CA) But no TP in stock. Maybe time to move to liquid diet
Thank you @Doug Selman
I think they’re a lot like B&B - they burn hot and long.My Ace Hardware is having problems getting B&B so they are getting Blues Hog Briquettes in. They seem to be pretty good!
Similar here.i use Kingsford Competition bricks and Jealous Devil lump exclusively. I make sur to have extra on hand.
Do you have a Tractor Supply Co near by? They have JD for $1/lb there.I really want to try Jealous Devil but I'm having a hard time paying the Amazon price because I can't find any locally.
