WEBER Vieluxe new life, New Year 2021

Can you show an underside view of those flavorizer bars???

I am looking forward to some photos once it is back up and running.

Makes sense! I thought it might be intentional...it's the same on both sets...just couldn't figure out why. Thanks!

All that i got done today was clean shop and cleaned up burners and installed them. New summit cross tubes. Over all they are in good shape. Wish i had a spare set sitting on shelf for the future.

I did run it on the pre 2000 summit burners so i know they will work. I originally said they were the same size, they are a bit shorter and definitely not built as well.. i have a set and they are still available new so when the time comes i will probably make them work. These original ones have at least half life yet. So might as well run them now and worry about it later.

Just be careful. They could cease production of them at any minute. Seems to be the norm with all their high end grills.

Soooo.. I found only one nos part in hours of internet searching.. i had to purchase it, no matter if i needed it or not. This is the cover for the rotisserie burner ignitor. Its a true work of art! :)

Back to grills. My spuds are in. Bits in hand.. i plan to work on this this weekend.. unless i have to work :(

Yes, I am trying to work. Hard when it is so easy to drift over here and then to FB Marketplace!!! Yeah, year ends, and tax returns already starting to come in...no time and poor weather for grills right now. Time to buckle down 😠 .
