Weber Genesis Year and Parts/Decal Questions

Picked this grill up today. Im going to rebuild the whole thing.. The stickers with the grill year and info is pretty much non-existent. First question. 1. About what year is this grill? The handle and the tables seems to be made out of composite decking, i thougt it was wood from the photos...

I would put in Qulimetal as a source for “very good” grates and Silver B/C flavorizer bars. I am hoping they will offer 13 bar flavorizer bar sets in the future.

Amazon has both Weber and a cheaper Uniflasy drip pan & holder assembly. The Uniflasy doesn’t feel as solid as the old Weber ones. I don’t know the quality of the new Weber ones. I am trying to restore an old one right now. What a pain

! The Uniflasy ones are looking like a good alternative.

Amazon also has a rotisserie by OneGrill. Although I have never seen it personally, reviews and comments here lead me to believe it would be worthy of inclusion as a “premium” rotisserie option. Also adaptable and fits most Weber grills.

Jason it is up to you but you might consider “premium, solid and inexpensive” or something like that as categories where appropriate, such as grates and flavorizers.

I thought about organizing things based on price/quality but I don't have experience with many of the items. And for now, as I hope the list continues to get bigger I will continue to add new entries to the original list as they appear. I'm sure I'll be here asking what is preferred and why for some of the things already posted. At some point I also think it would be cool to have a “premium, solid and inexpensive” kind of thing. At this point the only reason I did a Premium for the RC products is because of the reviews and testimonials I have seen so often here. Many times I have seem members saying things like, they may cost more but they are worth it. So I gave it the premium for that.

Here is a cover option for the classic Genesis and Silver B. I have used others by this brand but not this one. They get good reviews on Amazon and by our members. I might rate it “standard” using the labels suggested:
