Wind calmed down yesterday and it was a warm pleasant day here in the mountains of Arizona
So we decided to do the Tri Tip we’ve had lurking in the freezer.
Looking for something a little different to do with the TT, found a recipe in Weber’s Steak and Sides book called Hickory Tri-Tip Steak with Chive Cream Sauce.
Barb made her honey mustard carrots and a brown rice for the sides along with the Chive cream Sauce.
This was really a great dinner, simple but very good.

Ran the leftovers through my meat slicer, thin sliced for sammies.

It won't last, all my Tri-Tip that I sliced on Monday is officially gone, and there's maybe a sandwich left of the Turkey. Everyone here is raving about the sliced Turkey and Tri-Tip, even my daughter, and she doesn't like beef (I think she might be the UPS guy's daughter)
