Tri Tip and Twice Baked Plank Potatoes.

Had a busy Sunday we did four pizzas for future dinners in the morning and early afternoon and did a Tri Tip with twice baked planked mash potatoes and some steamed broccoli and cauliflower for dinner.
The tri tip was lightly seasoned with Weber’s Chicago Steak cooked on the performer with red oak for the smoke.
The potatoes have milk, sour cream, green onions, butter, garlic and sharp cheddar on the top.
Pulled the tri tip at 125 and it was perfect.
It was a great meal even if we did it in the rain.

You don't see one of these in your bird bath very often

Have a great week

Great looking tri-tip and potatoes Rich. Have a tri-tip in the freezer waiting to be cooked. Great cook as always.

I'd give anything to do a cook in the rain. Great looking cook Rich. Really like the potatoes. Tri Tip cooked to perfection too.

I can't wait until we have some company over for dinner. I'm going to make some of those plank potatoes and plop that plank down in the middle of the dinner table.
