It took me .3 seconds to have a Monty Python flashback on seeing that photo. Honestly though, moose bites can be very serious.

Muskie bites can be pretty darn bad as well. Recall one year visiting my wife's cousin who lived on a lake in MN. Out swimming near the dock there was a splash and one of the kids came out awfully bloodied from a Muskie (fresh water shark)

Only comment I will make on it so we don't hijack the thred and in agreement with LMichaels, even handling the gills of Muskie and Pike can be bad, as the grill plate can slice you open if you aren't careful. The problem isn't necessarily the bite or cut, it's the probability of infection due to introduction of bacteria. Tasty fish though, and a blast to catch.

Somebody I used to know up in da YooPee was hauling in a muskie that was flailing around and gnashing it's teeth when he heard from a nearby boat "WE SWIM IN THIS LAKE!!!!"

Never had chitterlings, perfectly willing to try, no idea how to cook them. Need to find a wise person to share!
Oh, I’m told that Guinea pig is quite delicious!
I've only done them one way. Clean well, cut in 2" pieces and boil in salted water for an hour, drain then roll in cornmeal and fry until golden brown. Usually eat them in a sammich on white bread with mayo. That's the way I first had them 50 some years ago. Been years since I've had them. Not easy to find around here.
Have you tried a pet store?
