Yes, that gets annoying! Most of my guests know that if the grill is hot, keep your bloody hands off! But, now and then someone just feels like they MUST peek. So far no one has fooled with the WSM! I’m fairly sure it will happen at some point.

I had a friend take the lid off my WSM 22 when it was just sitting in the corner of the garage. He was surprised by the weight and put it half way back on. I bit my tongue.
