My g/f & I are both nerds, but in completely different fields. She's a blood banker, and teaches at a rather well known medical clinic. Me, I'm a back end IT nerd. When we were still living in Chicago, and she had some lab supervision responsibilities, the phone would ring at an ungodly hour (like 0200,) and she could take a work from the lab and run with it cold. Utterly amazing to me how she keeps it all straight. And she tells me that there's no way she can run the entertainment system or house network without me.
 
Thank goodness we both like to talk about food and cooking it. lol When he starts talking about boat engines and such :rolleyes::sleep::LOL:
 
So today is the birthday for our office manger at work... she is great in keeping us all on track. We got her flowers, cake and chocolate.... she really appreciated it.

I sent her (as I do for birthday friends and relatives) the classic Three Stooooges bit set to The Beatles tune:
