Hope everyone enjoyed the game and this was our dinner of choice.
Started off with the ingredients for homemade buns. Flour, salt, oil, yeast, water and egg sub. Mixed e everything together then a little kneading till smooth and elastic. Divided into 8 rolls. Did a egg wash them in oven at 425* for 10 minutes. Will cool till dinner.
Fixings for burgers was some mince up onion, mushrooms, Jalapeno pepper, Weber’s Blazing Burger seasoning and fresh ground pepper. Wine is for the burger maker!
For onion rings started with some homemade starter, garlic powder, Sriracha and beer. Dusted cut onions in flour then into the batter. Used 12” CIS with oil to cook (sorry no pics.)
Burgers on Smokie Joe, direct heat for 4-5 minutes aside to a doneness of 155. Then added pepper jack cheese to finish.
Burgers finished off with some tomato, avocado, homemade guacamole and lettuce. Then added the onion rings to finish it off.
Hope everyone had a great week-end and thanks for looking.
