Smokey Cornell chicken

Howdy folks..had the craving for some chicken so I stopped by the store on the way home from work and picked up a couple full bone in chicken Ta ta's..hit them with some EVOO and weber garlic and herb..mixed up the cornell baste and fired up the performer!!



Poured a Full Sail pale and added some pecan for flavor!


Bit later..


Chicken at the first baste!



Looking good!



Made some biscuits too!



All served up with taters and salad and a fresh brew!!



Good stuff..wish I had time to do a quick brine on them..maybe next time I will inject the sauce into the chicken...but it was plenty good the way it was!

That really does look fantastic. That plated shot is perfectly composed.
I love the split chicken breasts , so inexpensive and I always feel like chicken on the bone is THE way to go. Nice job.
