Jeff G made these look good so I had to try!

Half were seasoned with Penzey's Bold taco & evoo, the other half were seasoned with Penzey's Greek seasoning & lemon pepper....and evoo.

the taco ones had bacon pieces, the Greek had Anaheim pepper squares.

I used some peach chips in my cold smoke square tube, and cooked I think on med (on the warming rack) for ~22+ minutes.

This turned out really good!

I pulled when they read ~165-170f which took less time than I expected.

Clint those look delicious. Plus they are very healthy. My kind of meal. I'm also curious as to which flavor you liked best.

I'm not sure which I liked better, they were both top quality IMO. I could see this becoming a staple in my diet! A couple sticks of meat along with a salad & rice.... maybe some naan (instead of pita since I've seen a naan recipe here and elsewhere lately that I've wanted to try). Tzatziki sauce is easy but not needed.... I like both of the seasonings; normally I'd skip the EVOO, but with these results, I might have to try some side-by-side to see if I can notice a difference.

I haven't bought much BSCB in many years....like over a decade, but I'm enjoying it now. Earlier in the day I had nachos made with leftover chicken taco filling (bscb, carrot, Anaheim peppers, onion, seasoned with Chef Merito's pollo seasoning) chopped, thrown in a heated CI pan, & pepper jack cheese.

Clint, those Kebabs look fantastic. Going to have to try those because those seasonings sound great together.

Round two - small yellow squash, onion, bacon, pasilla pepper, mushrooms. Chicken was cubed & seasoned with taco seasoning again, this time I bet it was from Costco, also rubbed with ~2.25T evoo. Cooked them on the Q200 I left with my dad & brother. I had to keep a closer eye on them on the smaller grill, turned them every 4 minutes, cook time around 20 minutes again. I didn't have a thermometer so I cooked them a little more than needed I'm sure just to be safe. No smoke flavor, that would've been an improvement but I loved these ones too. around 2.5# BSCB made 14 skewers total.

You know, I was thinking about that on my drive home today :)

I went on a bacon-wrapped scallops kick a year or three back. I also considered meatball kabobs too, have to pass the time somehow.

BSCB hasn't even been a consideration for me for so long, but I'm thinking of stuffed breasts (spinach/feta or pepperoni/cheddar/tomato sauce) , or pounding it thin for sandwiches, or...... Also considering using pork loin for these but I really don't know what to expect from pork loin or chops.
