Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna

The CEO was having a tough few days so I thought I would cheer her up, this is a much loved favorite of ours.
Toasted some Sesame Seeds

Beautiful fresh Ahi from my Monger

A light coat of Teriyaki Sauce and fresh ground black pepper and then pressed into the seeds

Trying my own recipe for a fresh sauce for tonights ravioli, some Sun dried tomatoes, garlic, white wine, EVOO, Sicilian Olives and a little water
along with some fresh grated Reggiano Parmigiano

Into the processor

On the stove to simmer with some fresh basil added and salt and pepper to taste

My two Son's just got back from a trip to Germany and brought me this beautiful Stein, filled it with one of my favorites

Fresh West Coast Oysters picked up also and opened them up

Came out perfect

Your plate with some Wasabi and crusty French Bread, had a Ginger Lime dipping sauce from the Monger also. Enjoy
