Thought I'd give my long suffering wife a brief reprieve from spicy fare and treat her to some comfort food.
Made a gravy with butter, flour, salt, thyme.
Moved to the side burner on the gasser to speed things up... mixed in 3 cups of milk. Brought it to a boil, cooked & stirred for several minutes more.
Greased the pan, put down a layer of potatoes, onions, ham and cheese.
Added some gravy.
Did it again.
Covered and into the XL @ 375*.
Had to add some fuel about an hour into the cook.
Let it go another 20 minutes and cooked uncovered for another 15.
Mmmmmm....
Time to eat.
