saw these advertised at Sams for $7.98 lb last week, so i swung by to check 'em out...
...and to buy one.
about 2½" thick and weighs 2.94 pounds.
seasoned it with Oakridge BBQ Santa Maria Rub
on the 18" lil' brownie out of the rain... It's first time being used here...
it's getting darker and darker every night...
seared each side for 4 to 5 minutes then off the heat til it reached a comfortable temp...
it took about 25 minutes to temp to 130ºF
so i took it off to rest....
...sorry, i have zero plated shots.
The rib eye was/is big enough to feed 4, we'll polish off the rest of it tonight.
