Well, it was time for me to come down to the Bay Area and do a little work on the place down here. Of course I brought down a couple of grills. I recently bought Weber's Big Book of Burgers. It is loaded with a lot of delicious looking burgers. Done a couple so far and haven't been disappointed yet. I decided my burger for tonight would be the Route 66 Burger.
Here's a shot of most of the ingredients.

Made up the patty. Got a nice thick tomato slice and made the sauce. The sauce is mayo, ketchup, sweet pickle relish and some finely chopped shallot. Just used seeded buns tonight.

Got a nice chimney going of Kingsford.

Got the patty on, very high heat.

At the flip.

During last minute got the cheese on for a melt. This is good American Cheese from the deli, not the stuff in the plastic wrapper. Gave the buns a toast also.

Surprise!! TOTS!! I love them and ate most of them.

Route 66 Burger sliced and ready to eat. Layered with sauce on bottom bun, then patty, lettuce, tomato and top bun.

Dessert. Store bought.

Well, that's it. Last nights dinner. Thanks again for taking a look.
