Rotisserie chicken

Kind of a cool rainy day in Montana on the second day of summer. Decided to have some chicken on the rotisserie. This Weber attachment was very expensive but I'm so glad I have it.
Here's the chicken with Weber's Kickin Chicken Rub. This has become our favorite chicken seasoning.

Set up the cook with one chimney of Kingsford split on the two sides

Checked the chicken after an hour. With all the vents opened I had to add charcoal after only an hour.

The beans were Bush's Grilling Beans and they were actually really good. The chicken was wonderful. Moist and tender and full of flavor. Thanks for looking and have a great week!
 
Great looking meal. I noticed the bottle of "New Age" in one of the pics. I just recently tried it and love it. Was actually enjoying a few Tinchos last night.
 
The "Roti-Bird" looks wonderful! I haven't rotisserie grilled in a long time. I just may have to get back in the fight.

Love the rotisserie chicken. I always do two at a time when I do mine, I pick the 2nd apart to use in other dishes. Great job!
 
Nice cook! Nice Dinner!! Just curious why you don't use the bottom grate for the charcoal? Seems like it could plug up if the charcoal is directly on the bottom of the kettle?



Scratch that, I see that the grill is in, looked like it was out at the one hour mark
