Roast on the Kettle Gasser

I’ve been using my Weber kettle gasser for chicken and turkey and have been totally amazed at how perfect they come out, crispy skin and very moist meat.
I decided to try a beef roast I had lurking in the freezer. SPOG was the seasoning.

Placed it on the kettle gasser and set the temp too high for 20 minutes, then too low for another 40 minutes.
It only has two temperature settings, high which simulates t a charcoal grill during its first hour and low simulates the temperature as the coals start to burn down.

Made some smashed potatoes and Barb cooked up some asparagus.

Pulled the roast at 125, the roast came out great, moist and tender. It’s really a shame that Weber doesn’t sell their kettle gasser conversion kit here in the USA.

How do you two keep pulling off these great cooks out of your back pocket.?..Bravo ...Rich and Barb.

Great looking roast Rich. It looks like it turned out perfect. Great dinner. I don't know anything about a kettle with gas but it looks like it works like a champ.

That does look good! Super.

Curious: Is there a difference in the finished product between that & doing it on a rotisserie in a regular gasser?

As far as chicken and turkey (breast) it's almost exactly the same. Crisp skin and perfectly cooked moist meat and it's quick, a five pound chicken takes about an hour or less.

That is such a cool BBQ Rich. Roast looks perfect, consistent color from the center out
