Came back home yesterday after four days in the bay area. The last night down there I decided to do a couple of rib eyes I'd picked up at Costco last week. Also did a couple of bakers and some white asparagus. I'd seen it in the stores in recent weeks but never tried it. Here's some pic's.

Steaks. They were pricy, but decided to splurge.

Got them unwrapped and seasoned with k salt and pepper. Brought up to room temperature.

Got the russets buttered and rubbed down.

A little oil, salt and pepper for the asparagus.

Potatoes on for about an hour.

Got the steaks on JJ. Very high heat.

Got the asparagus on while steaks cooked.

Asparagus is done.

Flipped after 4 minutes.

Pulled after 7-8 minutes total time.

Plated.

Slice.

The steaks were absolutely delicious. Worth the price, in my opinion. The asparagus was OK. I think I prefer the regular, not sure why, maybe just too much white. Something different. Thanks for looking.

Cliff, those steaks are out of sight great job!! Costco steaks are the best, we won't buy our steaks any where else. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!!
