For those that remember it you may recall it was based on a series of books called "Little Black Sambo" basically what The Jungle Book was based on. When I was little my mom used to read to me from it. They ended up having to change the name and total decor (though I forget what it was changed to).
Didn’t it become Denny’s?🤔 Just kidding.🤣

I don't know LOL. Back when my late sister was in college in Normal when I would visit her or bring her things from home we'd go there to eat.

We had a Sambo's near us in Reston VA. Basically an IHOP. They changed the name to the Jolly Tiger somewhere at the top of the 70's or bottom of the 80's. According to Wikipedia some eventually became Denny's.

This thread is a mystery for me. It just showed up for the first time this year, and if I go to
the Just Conservation sub forum it doesn't show there at all.
I don't think there's a way I could have accidently clicked something to hide the thread.

I've been having trouble standing
I can walk fine, but if I stop for more that 5 or 6 minutes, I get shooting pains down the back of my legs and my calves get heavy and I'll need to sit for a couple minutes before I can go on with what I was doing
The doctor thinks it's my sciatic nerve and prescribed steroids, which I'm almost done with
He had some X-rays taken of my back, and it showed a compressed disc and a little bit of arthritis. Yay
I've also started wearing compression socks, which help a great deal, and started doing stretches to stretch my back out
The stretches really have been helping, and my dog Daisy decided to spot me tonight!
Yes, she's sitting on my bicep!
Crazy puppy!

Moose swimming next to a SUP'er at the local lake this past Monday...

Video of the event within the link,

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — As record-setting heat arrives in parts of Colorado, many are looking for ways to stay cool. So, why not take a swim?

A Breckenridge resident and avid outdoorsman paddle boarding on Dillon Reservoir learned firsthand this isn’t just a human instinct when he found a moose swimming across the lake.

Jonathan Oetkin has seen moose on several occasions, mountain biking, eating his flowers at his house, even when one almost stomped on his friend.

“It just looked at my buddy and I was thinking I’m going to have to pull my buddy behind a tree real quick,'” said Oetkin.

But Oetkin’s recent encounter was one for the books. Paddle boarding on Lake Dillon with his girlfriend Lauren, Oetkin noticed something unusual on the water, a young bull moose going for a swim.

“It got in and started swimming,” said Oetkin.

With all the boating activity on the reservoir, Oetkin quickly realized the aqua-bound Alces Americanus could collide with watercraft.
“I did not want a speed boat to come along and take this moose out. Not to mention it would not be good for the boat,” said Oetkin.

He decided to provide the moose with an escort. But moose, Oetkin discovered, are pretty good swimmers.
“We were trying to pace ourselves with him, and he was cooking,” said Oetkin.

After about a mile swim and twenty minutes of paddle boarding with Bullwinkle on the reservoir, the mountain moose hit pay dirt.
“It shimmied the water off and kind of hung out in some willows and ate, probably worked up an appetite on that swim,” said Oetkin.

For the man who has had many experiences with mountain moose, now he has one more under his belt.
“Definitely one of the coolest,” said Oetkin.

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, moose are excellent swimmers and very much at home in the water, which can be a good place to view them.

Arkansas grown tomatoes are here.
Not the best tasting, they're picked when just starting to turn and shipped north. Still better than hothouse varieties.

My wife gets sciatica occasionally, Theraworx seems to help: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078YFT468/?tag=tvwb-20

Also an inversion table seems to really help: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QCI4GG/?tag=tvwb-20

Rusty, I totally understand this and watching some people hauling RV’s down the highway unbalanced scares the heck out of me. They are just accidents waiting to happen. Thanks for posting!

Amazing how many people don't know how trailers pull. FTM, recreational doubles scare the daylights out of me, a lot of those drivers don't have any business driving a lawnmower, let along a 3 unit rig that's 80' long.

If I remember correctly, the old rule was 60% / 40% with 60% up front. Never seen a model demonstration on tongue weight until now. It sure is eye opening.
