Me, September, 1985, with my Dadās 1979, 22.5ā Weber kettle (still have it and those silver tongs hanging on the side of the grill to move hot coal around - still hanging in the same place!) and in April, 2024 with my green 2008 Genesis E-310 and my newly acquired copper 2009 Genesis E-320, expertly and caringly restored by fellow forum member Dave M.

Here's Matt Pittman from Meat Church and I at the airport in Vancouver. We were getting on the cruise boat to head to Alaska and he flew in from Texas and was on his way to a Canadian Island for fishing and BBQ'g. It was very kind and gracious of him to let me interrupt his day and get a picture. No one in my family appreciated meeting a social media BBQ'r, but I know you will here. People at the airport were asking me who he was. LOL.

It's a classic. That house (a rental) was but a few blocks from my grade school, of which many guys who I went to school with lived close to that place (still with their mom & dad, lol) some serious hoops were played back in those days, a couple broken windows too, lol
