After seeing Chris A and Jim L cook these, I knew I had to make them too, even at $18 per pound.
These 3 weighed .91 lbs. total, purchased from Costco.
Grilled over lump, with Weber Steak 'n Chop seasoning.

Honestly, some of the best beef I've eaten lately.
Melt in your mouth tender, and rich enough that one is satisfying.
The price isn't so bad if you consider 3 meals from them for about $17.
Four meals, if Jo and I share the remaining one in steak salads.
Thanks for viewing!

When I saw $ 18 a pound I thought that's not going to happen, but to your point we could get at least two meals out of those and buying two decent steaks is that much or more. The ones you have look the perfect size for Barb and I now.
You did a nice job on the cook and the pictures are really good.

Thanks, Bob. When eating a full ribeye, the outer portion--what I now know is the cap--is always my favorite part! Will try some of these--look delicious.

Bob, those look fantastic and that plated pic WOW!!! Just the right size for us also, thanks for sharing those great pics.

Hey Bob,

Great looking steak and thanks for teaching me something new. Now lets see if I can find them any where.

Nice looking steaks Bob. I don't think I could ever bring myself to pay $18 per pound though, especially while whole Prime Ribeye loins are under $10.00 per lb at my Costco.

Looks very tasty, Bob! I'm a fan of Weber's steak and chop seasoning too. It's also good on vegetables. Just whisk some into a little oil to marinate the veggies in.

Unbelievably spectacular! What a great looking cook and that plated pic is exceptional!

Nice to learn about the capsteak, my wife can't eat a whole ribeye at a sitting. When you re-heat a well done (I'm still working on that with her) steak, it might as well be shoe leather! This looks like a great to reduce initial quantity and get a second feast out of the steaks, thanks for the tip or maybe I just give you a "tip of the cap!"
