This is my desert for our Memorial Day Dinner.
My never fail pie crust I always use. Cut the dough into five to six inch diameter circles.
Then I added the sugar rub. Granulated sugar, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and nutmeg mixed well.
Removed the skin and pit from peaches and cut each peach into eight wedges. Mixed peaches and rub together, ready for the grill.
Preheat grill to 400, oil grates. Place peaches on grill cook 3 minutes on each side or until caramelized. Remove peaches cut into half inch pieces, add butter mix till butter has melted. Then add sugar and flour, mix well then add orange juice.
Place 3 Tbsp. of peach filling on each circle, fold over and crimp. Brush tops of pies with egg whites and sprinkle with sugar.
Oil grates and place pies on grill. Cook uncovered for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the dough turns a crispy brown. Remove from grill serve with ice cream and enjoy.
Thanks for looking and hope everyone had a great Memorial Day.
