I was watching for, and wanted to plan something special for my 10K post, and it slipped right by me!

So I will just say this:
I love this forum, many of you have become like family (in a good way) to me.
At best I was a mediocre griller/bbq'er when I joined in '09.
I still have a ways to go to catch up with some of you folks, but I'm pretty happy with where I'm at now.

Thank you all!
And thank you Mr Allingham for creating and maintaining this best of all forums!

Congrats on this achievement Bob! You are right, this is the best of all forums. It is the only one I return to regularly. Thanks Mr. Allingham.

Well said Mr. Correll, however I feel that you are one of the few that set the bar when it comes to BBQing.

Bob congrats on the 10K! As James and Jim said you're an inspiration to many of us and hopefully someday I can reach the level you have obtained. Here's wishing you another 10K and more. A big thank you to Chris for this great friendly forum, non better!

Bob first of all congrats on the 10K milestone. Let me be the first and I’m sure not the last to say you have given far more than taken from this board. I and others have been incredibly lucky to learn from you. Once again, thanks and congratulations.

If you'd like, I can roll your odometer back to 9999 and you can post your message again. :)

Seriously, you're a good egg, Bob Correll. Thanks for your support all these years. Hope to meet you offline someday.

Congratulations Bob! I enjoy reading your informative, generous and sometimes humorous posts. It's easy to recognize you are a huge contributor to this Board and it's success. Thank you!

Chuck, I'm just trying to keep my lead on you. :)
you better get busy, I'm almost 1/3 on you and I'm not even at a year yet :)

It's funny...I've printed cooks that I want to do (seen here) and I put them in "my" kitchen drawer. It's getting tough to close that drawer anymore. Guess I need to slow down posting and get busy cooking

Bob, you have been an inspiration to me and MANY others here! In your honor, I took out 2 pork steaks today to thaw out and will grill them this weekend! :blackkettle: :D

Thanks to you and Chris A for helping me "chase the carrot"...always trying to achieve what you make look so effortless! I'm hoping to get better by your 20,000th post!

Congratulations Robert! 10K high-quality, well-researched posts - no bull...t. Cooking, family, feelings, opinions, reviews, reactions, kind words... thanks for all your posts that I have this great forum could read, because you were willing to write them. Probably will not happen, but I would be honored I shake hands with you (I think personally, now I'm jealous of Jim Lampe)
You're my favorite man, and you know it dude;)

I did not want to bump this thread, but wanted to respond to all of the kindness.
First off, 10K posts is just that, and it only means that I post a lot, probably too much.
While it's a milestone for me, it does not make me a better cook than anyone else here.
My intent was to simply thank you all for your friendship, and the knowledge passed on to me.
I do wish that I could meet all of you in person.
OK, group hug, hold hands, and three choruses of kumbaya. :)

Congrats my friend, I know it's just a number but it is a Big #. It's always a pleasure to read your posts and I learn a little every time I do. Here's to the next 10,000

I duno...you cook pretty good. Maybe you could cook some more on that Santa Maria.

Bummed...does not look like Costco is going to sell / have a sale on the Santa Marias this year.
