NY Strip kebabs today, flank steak salad last night

Steak kebabs ($1.89/lb @ RD iirc):

they cooked for a total of 15 minutes on medium, they marinated in Wishbone Italian dressing and a little extra pepper for maybe 1.5 hours

Salad has cucumber, cauliflower, onion, 2 slices of bacon, red onion, a small carrot, & plenty of feta (also from RD)..... Wishbone Italian dressing. The bacon is supposed to be for Turkey sandwiches
...served with some iced coffee

here's last night's dinner - just under 1# flank steak, it had Chef Merito's carne seasoning on it overnight (thought I'd have it for dinner Thursday night but didn't).

Looks good Clint. Barb and I are having more salads because it's been so hot. I don't want to cozy up to a hot grill in the evening so I cook any protein for the salad about 7am to beat the heat.

thx - my employee of 5 years put in his 2 weeks a month ago - I've been working on my own for the last 2 weeks.

The bike's been fun! I have a new guy starting on Monday. I've been working on straightening my books, re-learning the bench (electronics work), and going through all the stuff I haven't done for years..... 10-11 hour days - not so bad but I don't think I'm good for 15 hour days anymore (used to be able to slam out 2 weeks of them in a pinch before cracking....not anymore)

Glad you have some light at the end of the tunnel Clint. My springs are similar. Hectic pace on the work and then total burn out for a week or so. Cook looks great.
