Well it new pup time at our place.
We got us an Australian cattle dog puppy a week ago.
This will be the second time we had this breed and they sure are not for everyone.
He is doing well with crate trainin.
He fetches and returns most things.
He goes potty like no other and doesn’t care where so he gets taken out side every hour or two.
Pretty good boy and friendly as heck.
Wife named him Rocky Racoon.
Not sure why :).

Ah, the joys of potty training a new puppy. He's a cutie I'm sure he's going to be a wonderful addition to your family.

Two years ago, my last "puppy" passed away at the age of 14. I hope that your new
puppy lives a long and happy life!

Andy... Great looking puppy !!!
By chance, what makes the breed not for everyone ?
Note: Our current is a 4 yr old Long Coat German Shepard @ just over 100 lbs.

Cute puppy!!!
The first dog that Pammi and I rescued was a blue heeler, also known as an Australian Cattle Dog. Blue, her name, was 5 or 6 when we rescued her and she lived another 12 years
And, you're right. She could be cantankerous towards other dogs. Or if she saw a deer, she wanted to run after it!
But she was a good dog!

He’s definitely a cute, cool looking dog! I’ve known 3 dogs of that breed, they do like to run, fetch etc. ALL DAY!!!

By the way--and I don't mean to steal from your thunder--but this husky [Fang] is also not for everyone. He belongs to our Son who lives around the corner but he visits us regularly with his treats. This is a deer leg that he delivered:

Bob,
they are just tenacious and fearless as all get out.
If you don’t keep them occupied or mentally stimulated properly you might regret it.
Most only trust family members and are prone to bite non members.
For fun they like biting and running cattle.

This pup is going into beach training in a week or.
I want him to do this if possible.

Our 13 year old little dog is having a very tough day. She got the mandatory rabies vaccination at the vet this morning. For some reason, this one seems worse than previous rabies shots. She has been limping from the soreness at the injection site, got sick a few times, and has not shown interest in food yet. None of it is serious that time won't fix. She finally fell asleep about an hour ago and should feel better tomorrow.

Hope your little girl feels better. Our boy, Winchester tore a ligament in his knee on 4/25 and had TPLO surgery on 5/5. He’s healing, gonna take a while. Dogs are tough!
