Hi gang: I scored this 22 1/2" beauty a little bit ago on CL - $10.00! She's missing the rear handle and has a few beauty marks; but, as you'll see, she sure cleans up nice.

Before

and after!

Man, she's shiny! The last picture is showing the reflection of light off the bowl and into the ash catcher. I scraped most of the crap from the inside with a single edge razor and than buffed everything with 0000 steel wool and Simple Green. Sanded and waxed the lid handle. I bought replacement dampers for the non-functioning, frozen, daisy wheels - but I was able to free them and re-contour them to the bowl. The original wheels were shot, I put on a pair from an old Genesis frame I had in the bone yard. My virgin cook...

It just goes to show how a bit of talent and hard work can provide rewards! Truly a nice job of recovery!

Keep on smokin',

Brian, you took one that was ridden hard and put away wet and saved it for many more rides. And your chicken looks superb!
