Well loved, and sitting in the number two spot is my 26" OTG.

And in the number one spot, if I could only keep one grill, is my Performer.

What's your top one or two grills?

Hands down the 26. Now that I have taken care of the wobbly
legs it moved back too "Go
To Grill" status.

The 26 is a mighty fine BBQ. I would love to find one of those old ones with bull horns on it (probably everyone else would too)

Got to agree with you Bob, don't have a 26" (yet) holding out for a 26" performer. My blue performer would be the #1 keeper with my NG E320 #2. We have to keep a gasser because of the wind and fire restrictions in the summer, can't use charcoal usually about 6-8 weeks in the summer.
If they ever made a 26" performer I would get rid of the other six grills and just have the two and my two WSMs

I have to say, of all the grills that I have, my pick is not the most flexible or capable smoker/grill that I have. I have a ranch, 26", 22" WSM, and some eggs and other webers, but my pick would be my medium Big Green Egg. It only has a 15" cooking grid, but it is definitely my go to grill. I would say that 95% of all cooks end up on it. This is because of its size. It is perfect for my family of five. It gets roaring hot, long low and slow, and holds the right amount of food for my group. Logically I would say that the ranch would be the one I keep, but it is reserved for large gatherings in the summer with the family. I would really miss the medium egg if it wasn't the one grill I chose. Cooking on it is like walking, I dont even think about temp or managing it. I've logged hundreds of cooks on it over the last 6 years or so. All this and I picked it up for about $150.00 used from a local guy on the egg head forum that I became friends with.

My 22" Silver (converted to Gold) and 22.5" WSM because I have the pizza oven for the kettle and expandable hanging rack for the WSM. I have a Jumbo Joe and 14.5" WSM for the RV but they're not the go-to at home.

Dustin, I would love that mod to mine, and maybe a lid hinge too.
I didn't think it was too wobbly when I picked it up, used, a couple months ago, but the more I use it the more it seems to wobble.
They were supposed to address that problem on the newer models, I think.
Had a Rancher for awhile, it was just too big for my needs and was seldom used.

If weber ever comes out with a 26" performer, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

That said, my #1 grill is my Copper Performer. Grill #2 is my gray Genesis EP320. The genesis is great for roti cooks, cooking side dishes while I'm cooking the main meal on the Performer, quick weeknight stuff, etc.

I think I'm with you on this one, Bob. If I could only keep one of my Webers, it would be the red SS Performer for both practical and sentimental reasons. On the practical side, it's definitely the most versatile of my Webers. On the sentimental side, it's been in service to my family for a long time, with over 25 years of memories. Both my older brother and I learned to grill and smoke on this thing through a lot of trial and error (extra emphasis on "error" for me :p). I'm hoping it lasts another 25 years.

I'm curious as to what other sizes of kamado grills you have, and why you like the 15" so much. I've had a couple of 18" kamados, and it's not like I ever wished they were smaller. Lighter, yes, but not smaller.

I'm with Dwain on this . My 22 silver (also converted to gold) and my 22.5 WSM are all I need. I don't have the pizza oven but I love the hanging rack. If I had to only have one grill it would probably be the 22 kettle. A 26 would be a bonus, but as far as bang for your buck you can't beat the 22 OTS. I just put the ash catcher on because I use it on my deck.

Grills of a lifetime for me......

1950's 22.5" Custom Bar B Q Kettle

1960 Imperial - Oldest one I have seen to date. Steel legs, white wheels, and white porcelain coated ash pan on the underside

1950's Chestnut Weber Bros Metal Works

1963 Plainsman

1960s Red Ranger & Early 1960s Wood Dale Westerner

Here are the Eggs I have: XL (24"), L (18"), Med (15"), Small (13"), Mini (10"). I also have a Bubba Keg which is an 18" double walled and insulated kamado.

I like the smaller one because it is quicker to temp, uses less lump. The only one I purchased new was the small. The others I picked up on craigslist and another local site that sells used items. I have an addiction. I don't even want to list the Webers I have as well. It looks less crazy when you spread them out at friends and relatives houses. OK, maybe it doesn't.

Stephen, nice collection! I missed one of the "longhorn" westerners by ten minutes,Probably twenty years ago now! I'm still disappointed.
I have my profile setup and think I would like to add a 26" to the culinary lab simply because there are times, not too often, that just that extra space would mean only needing to fire one grill instead of two. Cleaning one instead of two is a plus as well.

While I love my WSM, Lime Green Performer and BGE, if I could only keep one of my grills, it would be my Genesis Silver with sideburner and rotisserie attachment. I concede it doesn't BBQ like the charcoal grills or get rip roaring hot like the BGE, but it gives me such flexibility and variety I probably wouldn't give it up.

Thankfully, I do not have to!

Well, now that I have been "Hot Rodding" my setup for the upcoming feasting season, I simply cannot ever part with either of my kettles.
Just ordered a hinge from "Unknown" to complete the grand design. Yeah, right.....complete, sure! There will be something I will think of to increase the fun quotient.
Hmm, tunes?
