My first Performer cook

I picked up a new/used performer and took some pics of my first cook.. I did a simple cook to get use to the new unit. I was quite impressed with just how much accuracy you can get to any temp you need.. Loved cooking on it. I hope you all dont mind my long winded post. I started as I usually do..

Ok I started with some spuds and a cast iron skillet

Sliced in the skillet, melted butter, onion and garlic poured over the top. In for an hour at 425 degrees.

got the steaks and goodies prepped.

spuds were completed with cheese and bacon and back in for bit more..

I love the performer its very versatile .. looking forward to many more cooks on this thing.. hope you enjoyed the pics.. Dave
 
Great first cook Dave! Also nice to see someone who doesn't have dig their grill out of four feet of snow to cook:p
 
Congrats Dave, that's an awesome cook and looks sooooo delicious. Your going to love that Performer its great.
 
As a new member to the performer club as well - I echo your sentiments and observations.
