Howdy folks ....I had been craving a little low and slow brisket for quite some time. Decided Easter was the day to do it so.....

picked up a 14 lber from Costco and seasoned it with equal parts of corse salt, ground black pepper and garlic powder (trimmed some point and made brisket burger with about 3 lbs of it)

Then got up in the early hours of the am and started a fire 63D30686-A59E-4D97-B4B8-4A9D9DF6FAB8.jpeg
Brisket at about the 1/2 point

Then I just sat around and enjoyed a quiet Easter afternoon

thanks for looking folks...getting used to posting on here again so bare with me🤪

Keep posting, Morgan, it all looks great! Nice job on that brisket, and I see you had your "monitoring station" set up again! ;)

The only thing that's keeping me from putting on pounds during our lockdown is getting on the exercise bike as often as I cook! ;)

Keep 'em coming!
