...and one of my best cooks evahh!!! I had some leftover Easter stuff so I was gonna share it as sort of a happy hour snack at my club. (People were animals... hence no plated pics).

Here's where the rib-eyes wound up... (brown sugar, soy, garlic, lime juice, olive oil, etc...) Cut up a ripe pineapple and skewered the chunks...

into the walk-in box for safe keepin'!

Reduced the left-over marinade and drizzled it on the cookin' skewers...

Nothing was left. I thought a fight was going to break out over the next skewers.

Everyone ate. (even me).

I wanted to celebrate my post because I've learned so much from others on the board. What a great community we have here. So many ethnicities and walks of life. I'm a better cook, and more importantly a better person for knowing you guys.

Cheers to us!

Congratulation mr All-star:D

That was some good looking food.

Agree that this is a fantastic community

Awesome cook and congrats on the 1000th post. That is quite the stock of hydrating fluids in your walk in.

Joe - outstanding cook - I love the way you handled the steak - very creative. I agree with you - one of the best things about this group is the diversity of approaches and cultures that come to the table (so to speak) here. I am learning every day and beginning to get confident enough to 'fuse' some of the ideas everyone presents here. It is an invaluable resource and we are all richer for it...

Regards,

John
