A couple of weeks ago Clint posted a recipe for Jack Daniels Double Kick Pork Chops which used bourbon as part of the marinade and the basting sauce. Thanks Clint.

It looked interesting so we decided to give it a try. Didn’t have any JD so I used Maker’s Mark instead.
Also substituted Sriracha for the chili paste.
Have to say it was quite good. Barb and I want to try it with some beef next time.

Ready for the grill after a six hour marinade

Indirect for 4-5 minuets a side. Then a quick sear.

Barb made some red potatoes, bell pepper and onion in the CI pan cooked with EVOO and some Weber Smokey Mesquite.

Have a great weekend.

Looks Great! I had some right away (~30-45 min marinade), & some with a ~24 hour marinade..... the 24 hr ones were my favorite

That's a fine pork chop dinner, but I don't see any evidence of the Jack Daniels, you'll have to do it over, this time with the "proof" :)
