I was just looking at that one. Hard to know how much he wants for it. Reasonable offer?

The white walls alone would probably get $25-30 from me. If the rest of it is as solid as it appears, for a keeper I would probably be willing to go up to $100. It looks really nice. The fat slats all look salvageable to me.

Looks pretty darn good for an early first generation

I have gotten some pretty brittle ones out that looked far worse for the wear but have yet to try on a fatty. Are they held in similarly to the narrow ones?

I've taken them out quite carefully I don't think it's possible to reuse them unless you glue them back in or something hokey like that. The second generation ones yes you can reuse

These aren't my style of Weber so I didn't really pay that close attention but side burner on the left? Is that how they came? Or was it switched to the left side and longer gas line installed.

I don't recall ever seeing a left side burner on a Silver, so I am going to guess it was a later addition.

Nope. No idea how they did it except they likely ran an extra long corrugated flex line to it

I like the left side sideburner. The one I got off what I call a spirit B (basically the silver B spirit), that I am thinking about putting on gold c similarly to this one.
