I think that might be true. The aluminum end caps have the same strange gray color seen on the porcelain lid.
Way way back I worked at Campmor in Paramus. I worked mostly behind the climbing counter, but also in boots and sleeping bags.
I loved that store. When we get back there to visit we still try to stop there.

The only downside of the "platypus" is it would need a top handle for the rotisserie. I think the one by me had an extra handle added. I asked him but he is no longer responding.
