Happy Thanksgiving, ya'll.
Smoker is fired up for the prime rib, dinner knot rolls have been formed and in the final proof, just about ready to start peeling rutabaga, parsnips and carrots (for roasting,) sweet potatoes for a bourbon mash, snip green beans for soy ginger glazed beans, and late afternoon work on cider braised cabbage wedges.
Ended up inviting a friend of mine (used to work with him) down for dinner, his feast today is a restaurant lunch with his folks. Man, we can do better than that.......
