My 24 year-old son asked what I wanted for Father's Day and I said I wanted him to help me cook steaks and eat with us. We almost never see him and he rarely eats with us, but this time he said yes.
We cooked Ribeyes and yukes, sat on the porch (the deck wasn't an option with the rain), and had a couple of beers and talked about stuff. I can't remember the last time we did that without a major fight. Truly a great Father's Day.
Here are a couple of pictures. I've posted nearly identical cooks so skip them if you're tired of them.
Raining so I put up the umbrella.
Ribeyes & yukes on grill just like I've posted before, but this time, my son is doing it!
Skipped a lot of the boring stuff. Here is my plate.
Dessert, courtesy of the wife. Angel Food Cake, fresh strawberries, whipped cream.
Thanks for looking.
