Ginger Ale Galena Chops

TVWBB 1-Star Olympian
soaked two nice thick pork rib chops in 12oz of ginger ale for a few hours

then seasoned them with Penzey's Galena Street rub

grilled direct a few minutes...

...then indirect until they reached a proper internal temp
served then with thick baked potato slices and steamed carrots with broccoli.

Cool beans Jim. Good looking chops. I think it's only in the BBQ world where soda pop becomes a viable ingredient for marinade or sauce. I like it.
 
Great lookin chops Jim...ok what made you soak them in ginger ale? Interesting concept!!of course chops look awesome as always!!
