It's nothing fancy, but apparently I'm too giddy. I forgot to put a drip pan under the chicken and I used way too much charcoal (could hardly keep it below 500) My son works at the local super market (in the meat section thank you) and picked these leg quarters for maybe two bucks

Marinade in Grill Mates (envelope) Garlic, Wine & Herb

Total time on the BBQ 1.25 hours and could only sear them a minute on each side

My son should be home any minute now, BBQ chicken for lunch :blackkettle:

Man Chuck, that things bigger than my backyard. Chicken looks great though, I'm sure there will be a little learning curve to it.

Chuck I would be giddy too! Cool grill! Congrats, I now have grill envy. Chicken looks good too. Nice job!

Lots of real-estate on that 26er grill and a custom painted Lodge Sportsman too boot.
Like your style ChuckO.

You're going to love that 26er, my son, dare I say it- is going to get the 26.75 soon as his performer is just about wore out! He looks at mine with envy every time he visits. If Weber made a 26.75" Performer he'd already have it.
