First attempt at Pepper Stout Beef


 
Did this cook on saturday

Started with 3.5lb chuck roast rubbed down with a salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder rub.




after 4 hours in pecan smoke at 260 I added meat to onions red, yellow, green peppers and a homebrew porter







Final product

 
We rank Pepper Stout Beef up there near the top as one of our mainstays (along with pulled pork, ribs, grilled pork chops, and Orange Marmalade Sriracha Sauce chicken parts (legs, thighs, and wings). If you haven't done it, you really should. Larry Wolfe certainly hit a home run with that combination.
