I smoked a prime brisket from Costco overnight Saturday for Sunday Father's day. It was the first time I tried injecting the brisket. I really like the results with the injection. I don't normally wrap my brisket during the cook because I like the really dark bark I get. However the very end of the flat can get a little dry sometimes. Seems like with the injection the entire brisket came out extremely jucy and tender even the end of the flat. I will probably be injecting from here on out. Just kept it simple, used 2 cups low sodium beef broth, 1 tbsp worchestire, 1 tsp soy sauce, and 1tbsp garlic powder. I also got an original kettle for my fathers day present to replace the kingsford charcoal grill I no longer like to use.
