Extreme Heat Burgers!

It has been 112 degrees here at the house the last two days. Getting a break this weekend. It's cooling down to around 100. I'd told my wife I'd do burgers so I did them Thursday night to avoid cooking in the kitchen. Really wasn't in to it and I kind of got lazy with pictures and forgot the finished burgers and plate. Anyway, here goes.

Ground some burger early Thursday morning. Froze 3 lbs. and held another pound for tonight's burgers. Used sirloin tip and chuck steaks.







Premium Deli Cheddar on mine.



My wife wanted Swiss.



A double for me.



Single for Wifey.

What you didn't see is a nice sesame seed bun and burgers sided with Tots. Sorry for the sloppy job with the pic's. Thank you for looking!

To me there's nothing quite like a good burger. Those certainly qualify. Awesome looking Cliff.

Great looking burgers Cliff, hope you can stay cool. We've been 103 for the last week and its getting old. Now we go into July its only going to get hotter for sure.
 
Nice burgers! It's been almost that hot here in NC the last couple weeks. It did get to triple digits a couple times. No thanks!
 
Great looking burgers Cliff, Been really hot here for us, today will be 17 in a row over 100. Been trying to cook outside as much as possible to keep the heat out of the house. Cooking in 100+ temperature just sucks the life out of me though so trying to do quick cooks if possible.
Be careful in that heat.
