Movie night at our house with our friends. Chicken legs , baked taters and Florida sweet corn on the menu.
Got everything organized and made sure the chef was properly lubricated. I can't tell you what was in the red cup , but it rhymes with "vodka and tonic" .
The drumsticks got a good coating of "kickin chicken" , the potatoes were rubbed with olive oil,sprinkled with kosher salt and dusted with weber garlic and herb rub. Then wrapped in foil.
I won't bore you with too many details , but these came out excellent. The chicken was moist and tender with nice crisp skin and the rub made it zesty. Oh , and they were brushed with open pit. Our house favorite. The baked potatoes came out wonderfully . I can't believe what a nice flavor that garlic and herb rub adds. The Florida sweet corn was amazin , but I can't take any credit for that . That was Gods and the farmers work.( Well , we boiled it.

I sincerely regret the absence of any plated pics , but the company showed up with the corn just as the chicken was coming off the grill and that had to be dealt with....and the next thing I knew I was chowing down on a real nice plate of early summer wonderfullness.
