Day Late Valentines Dinner

I worked graves over the weekend so to make things easier we celebrated Valentines Day a day late.

Picked up a New York Strip for my Wife and a ribeye for me.


Heavily salted both steaks


Rinsed the salt off of the New York after 30 minutes and 45 minutes on the ribeye and dried then as best as I could.


Grilled the New York to medium and the ribeye rare. Sauteed some shrimp in a bunch of butter, Cajun seasoning, salt, finely minced ginger, garlic, and green onion.


Served the shrimp over some rice and added some creamed spinach.


 
Looks insane, I'm sure your bride was more than happy to wait a day for that! And I love cream spinach. You killed it John!
