I wouldn't mind finding a Platinum series with a green or red lid as they don't seem to fade like the black ones do. That grill does appear to be about a '97 or '98 but that control panel is an older version for sure.I'm going to guess this one is within a year or so of 1998

I'm pretty sure this guy would ship this if you offered him more than $10 bucks for it. I've done it before with parts I've found on FBMP. This is a great example of someone who just doesn't want to throw something away and has no idea what he has.
I have a control panel that looks like that too, but it has a serial number that starts with L1. The grill you posted should have a control panel that looks like this.
